Bounce Shot is the family-friendly version of the popular college game!
Players take turns attempting to throw ping pong balls into their opponent’s cups, making them disappear. The first player or team to remove all their opponent’s cups wins.
But there’s a twist…
Bounce shots can remove two cups in one go, but also allow the defending player the chance to swat the ball away.
From the same folks who brought you the critically-acclaimed, Eleven Table Tennis, this game is simple to learn but deceptively challenging to master. Use the motion controllers to adjust the speed and angle of your throw to outthink and bluff your opponent.
And trust us on this one… that delicious chime in your brain when you sink a perfect arcing shot into an opponent’s cup NEVER gets old.
Bounce Shot is a game suitable for all ages and skill levels, even those who are brand-new to VR. Want your grandparents (or your grandchildren) to have their first crack at virtual reality? This is the perfect game to introduce them to the experience.
Bounce Shot features include:
- 3 stunning play environments w/original music - Practice mode for perfecting your play - AI opponents of 5 different skill levels - Private rooms for you and up to 7 friends - 1v1, 2v2 or 1v2 multiplayer matches - More game modes to come soon…
Without the timer?. I love it especially with the tug of war and domination games they've added, but can you add a way to play those versions without the timer or to custom set the timer?
Everyone’s favorite party game. This game is a perfect representation of beer/water pong. It is really cool how they incorporated the bounce shot with being able to defend it. Most pong games don’t have the bounce shot at all. Having the option to play against bots or join public lobbies is neat. Practice your shot against the bots so you’re ready to dominate the competition online. Overall if you like pong, this game is absolutely perfect for you. It is also great practice for when you play IRL.
Low key fun, priced right. Was fun playing pass through with my 8yo in same room. Appreciated that I could throw a more advanced bot on his side to even things out so he had a competitive shot. Thank you for the low price tag, I bought three copies.
Would love to see you guys add hand tracking to this game so the 5yo can play too. Their hands are too small to reliably manipulate trigger. Would also like a better way to share space with pass through, but current setup is just fine manually moving until mine/theirs lines up. Checkout Spatial Ops on SideQuest for a great example of how. Could potentially allow four players to share exact same table or even tournaments up to 8 players / 2 tables in same room.
Fun casual "drink" pong game. This is a fun version of the classic college and party game, but with none of the mess that I'm sure comes with the real thing. Disclaimer: I received the product for free in exchange for feedback and review. No stipulation on the content of the review.
I've never played the RL version of this game for various reasons, but it feels like a good implementation of it. There are a couple different variations of the basic "get the ball in the cup" mode so there's some variety and interest, plus there's a decent Mixed Reality mode where you can see your RL surroundings whilst you play. I did notice there seems to be more aim assist given to bounce shots than non-bounce shots, as I couldn't get a single non-bounce shot in, while most of my bounce shots made it in. Keeping in mind I don't play this in RL at all, that feels like aim assist to me. Which is not a bad thing! It helps keep it fun rather than frustrating.
I will say, though, that there does sometimes seem to be a tendency for the ball to go left when bouncing rather than straight or right. I was able to win against bots regardless, but occasionally felt that the aim assist messed up and pulled the ball left when it should've gone straight.
Overall, this is a fun little casual game for playing, chatting and laughing with friends, or just playing against bots at varying levels of difficulty. It's a got a few VERY minor hiccups, but nothing worth knocking a star off.
Excellent! Great fun & recommend! Full disclaimer! I was sent this to test & share my thought's. First of all, it is great fun! It does exactly what it promises & delivers the "Beer Pong" experience with good visuals & very good gameplay. Everything just works, you can play in full VR mode or in passthrough which again works brilliantly. PVP is great fun & where this games shines in my opinion, especially if you are playing online in mixed reality. I would love to see handtracking implemented in the future as this would be amazing to experience without controllers. Fully recommend & very happy I was able to play it.
