Great fun outer space! Tried this as it has good graphics and I like space games. And I admit it's fun! Smooth and good gameplay. I'd add some more complex mechanics to make use of the buttons but for quick and direct fun it's highly recommended. Cheers!!
Smooth Gameplay. This is a really wonderfully done wave shooter game. The setting is beautiful and the controls are pretty easy to get the hang of. Gameplay was very smooth and I had no issues with lag or loading. There are 5 levels with multiple stages in each and each stage gets increasingly more difficult. There are also 5 difficulty levels ranging from easy to master, so you can find one that challenges you just right.
You are taking down motherships which are releasing soldier drones so you have to balance your offensive attacks between waves of drones and the boss ship as well as dodge incoming enemy fire. I found myself playing for much longer than I intended the first time I played! I recommend this really fun shooter game, especially for such a great price!
Totally awesome. I bought this a while ago, and never gave it the attention it deserved. Completed stage one, and then......wow!!!!! This game is so addictive, and visually beautiful. Totally immersive. One of my top 5 games. Please please please add more levels. This is a superbly executed space shooter.
Better than expected but controls laggy. This is a really well made game and is exciting to play. It's a very tough game and it does have an addictive quality. I do want to keep coming back to it for one more go after i fail.
There are a few small problems that stop it from being great. You are not given enough info about what the powerups do or what penalties you can pick up and how to remove them from your ship, so you are left a bit confused in the beginning. Also, the ship does lag behind your hand movements. If the Devs can massively reduce the lag with the controls then i will change my score to 5 stars.

Great oldschool spaceshooter. I played the demo of David yesterday, after a long pause of months... And again, i am surprised how much fun it is. Blasting space ships, trying to beat my highscore. Played on my old Quest 1 and works super.
Surprisingly awesome + 25% OFF. I wasn’t expecting this game to be as polished as it is but Wowsers. Each planet looks completely different aesthetically, and the enemies are pretty dang cool too. Give it a go… these are the type of games I love supporting.

Galaga in VR. Amazing little game, can tell the small development team put a lot of love into it. Love the way it adds abilities as the plot progresses. The first set of missions are not indicative of where the game ends up. You start off using one controller to fly your ship in a 360 degree bullet hell wave shooter. Later levels will have you independently controlling two ships, directing attack squads, guiding missiles to sensitive targets with your head and slowing time to dodge between missiles. The progression is nice, you don't feel overwhelmed as it adds abilities.
The penultimate of sci-fi shooters! Just WOW! The penultimate of sci-fi shooters where you stand (or sit) in the heat of battle shooting down waves of enemy ships, missiles, mines, lasers, and more in the middle of space. The graphics look stunning and super smooth. The game uses an interesting control mechanism where your hands control your ship and a drone as if you are a puppet master.
I’ve only just started into Level 2 and the game has already introduced a variety power ups, goodie boxes, enemy ships, and bosses that require some strategy to best defeat them. It gets very wild and crazy as bullets, bombs, and missiles fly all around you and it can get a little disconcerting but you quickly get used to it as you wildly swing your arms and move around to avoid getting hit.
I love it when huge battle cruisers fly beneath your feet as you look down and shoot at it looking for it’s weak spots. Other times they fly above you and you can feel the scale of their size and it’s especially fun as you destroy them and they come crashing down right on top of you. I look forward to see what more is to come as I play through the levels.
I would like to see a way to move forward in space as I find myself physically moving dangerously forward or around to quickly reach those floating power ups! It would be nice to be able to use the joysticks to move around in space even if it’s within a limited area.
Nice but movement should be faster. It's a nice game but it's sluggish the speeup should be the normal speed not a power up. After a few levels it's repetive I'm wondering how much better the guns get. 1976 has a much bigger gun selection. Because its a wave shooter it could really do with music or a option to add your own or it will get dull quick
A bit dull and repetitive. Thought it would be like 1976 back to medway because that's what the video looked like. Not being able to stick move the ship makes it slow. 5 minutes of playing and I'm bored with no clear way to get a refund.
