Requires steady hands. This is a fun game, I love the backgrounds and the mix up with pool and golf. But you really need steady hands to line up your shots even with the direction lock with the trigger. It kind of apps shares with family members, you can play solo but not online. Also there is no online/multiplayer in game mic. So you can't talk to who ever you are playing. Also when a scratch happens you can not place the cue ball where you want. For the price it is a very fun game to add to your collection.
Good fun, but I need to practice a bit. For the price, this game is a steal. If you plan to play solo, the game successfully app-shares. But if you plan to play multiplayer, make sure all players own their own copy of the game. We couldn't hear each other in the multiplayer session, but Meta party chat would likely resolve that for us. The dev gave us some great pointers which got us playing in no time. It is a lot of fun, and likely requires steadier hands than mine to be a serious contender for winning consistently. 🤣 We will definitely play it again, because I love the different location options and want to experience them all.
Fun Game. I’ve enjoyed this game over the past couple of nights.
+ A fun mix of two sports + Nice environments + Satisfying potting + Arcade mode a nice extra and fun
- Aiming physics over sensitive (especially on long shots - sometimes tough to even line up on the desired ball). - Balls look like they roll (rather than slide). - Some table colours clash with the balls.
I’m still glad I spent the £4.49 on it though and I really hope the developer continues to update as I think this game could become a popular game. I’d love to see:
* more environments * the ability to put spin on a shot (like, perhaps you could push the thumb stick in the desired spin direction once the shot is locked on). * The ability to move the white ball after a foul. * Single Player mode with different difficulties.
Moon Golf - Billards. You are playing pool (Billards) on the moon but are using a golf club. The sights and locations are very cool! Takes a little getting used to the physics and the mechanics, but once you do it is a fun game.
Good idae, not so great execution. This would be awesome without A) the aiming mechanism that destroys the challenge of both pool and golf and B) the fact that if you are shooting in or around a cluster of balls, the game allows you to just like up and swing through balls. They made this game waaaay to easy.
Enjoyable but fiddly. Great concept and super environments. So far have only played against the A.I at 8 ball. It is a great experience and the chatter from the robots is fun.
However I'm puzzled by the control method. Why have aiming lines which are incredibly over sensitive. In fact why are they even there in the first place, or at least have the opportunity to turn them off. I find on longer shots after locking the aim (which is so cumbersonme to achieve), the angle of the club head bears little resemblence to the direction the cue ball takes which is so unrealistic. Can we not just have a normal putting action relying on intuition only with accurate physics.
Also no instructions on the other game modes.
Sorry to have to highlight negative points, but I so much want to enjoy this game. As it is, its fun but very frustrating.
Very cool concept and lovely graphics. This is a really cool concept for a game, and arguably the best way you could imagine playing pool in VR on a standalone headset (where the cameras would not see your other hand). The graphics are excellent and the environments are very immersive. Arcade mode is a lot of fun. I have a couple of comments, which in no way wreck the game but could improve it further. For the price it's a no-brainer though. Also, the developer is very responsive and friendly/open to feedback.
- The club won't lengthen or shorten in the penguin mode. - On that note, the penguin mode could do with a few more details (e.g. you can knock the balls around until they are in the water). Once I figured it out, I did really like this mode, even without being able to change club length (although this bug did make things more awkward). The jumping Orca was a cool feature that could be repeated more often. - The instructions could do with some polish. I really like the arcadey nature of the menu buttons, but the text for instructions just doesn't have the same level of polish. I find this true of a lot of VR games though. - I liked the music when it came on. It would be cool to be able to toggle this kind of thing on at any point. - At one point, the AI pocketed the white. This put the white back in a place where I had two shots but was snookered from my balls. This surely seems an error. - Arcade mode was great fun. It would be awesome if there were even more puzzles, as it really left me wanting more. - Add access to achievements/leaderboard from main menu outside of a game.
Good looking game , but. First, thank you developers for this good looking game, I like it. Please continue to improve the gameplay, the control need to be improved , ( easy to learn the controller and easy to play ) can the game to display / show buttons functions of each controller while I play the game. May be a help display of the controller in front of you while you play will be helpful. Please continue to improve the gameplay. Thank you
