概要
Did you ever fancy owning an Air Hockey Table but didn't have the space? Air Hockey Arcade gives you an Air Hockey Table inside your Quest.
This game is still under development, but we wanted to share what we have so far as a playable demo.
Demo features:
Play against our AI opponent with 3 difficulty levels. Real-time Physically Based Lighting Supports 90Hz on Quest 2
Full game roadmap / Planned features (some will be free with the demo, some will be In App Purchases).
Multiplayer & Social Features (perfect for future lockdowns!). Hand Tracking support. Achievements, Leaderboards & more. Customisable / Multiple environment. Music player (details to be confirmed).
Best Air Hockey So Far. The physics and sound are awesome. Multiplayer absolutely needs to be added. Two other suggestions would be to be able to pick up your controller and the controller and puck should be adjustable according to Easy mode, Medium mode, Hard Mode and Expert mode with either the goal getting bigger or the puck smaller. Definitely right now the controller seems extra large and not a realistic size. Overall better than any of the other air hockey games out there.
Awesome physics and gameplay. Thank you for your work. Loved the game. Good graphics and amazing gameplay. I just hope for a multiplayer mode (even if it's a paid app).
Great game but…. This game is a must have for anyone who is even interested in hockey, I just have one recommendation. Change the radius of the Ai area… what I mean by that’s is allow the ai to move past the blue line like the player can. I’ve had to sit for 2 minutes waiting for the puck to cross the red line so I can strike it. Otherwise good job
Best out here. To the Devs … did you guys Abandon this project is the best air hockey on VR … it have some minor glitches like when trying to invite people to play the table glitches out and the puck glitches out but overall fantastic realism I hope you guys are still working on it it would be a shame to let this one go
Great game. Should be multiplayer. Great graphics. Should be multiplayer, and sold in the real quest store after that is done. Also add YouTube for music.
Excellent. This felt exactly like air hockey. Well done. Had to walk into the table slightly to reach the puck but that was no problem as still behind the goal
There are speakers in the corner of the room but no music playing, this game would be much enhanced by the ability to put some music on.
Also couldn't exit had to reset my device to get out
Air Hockey! This brought back many happy memories of my youth. Solid hand tracking, realistic game play. A must for Air Hockey fans. Good job Dev looking forward to more updates!
Cons: It would be nice to have an option to change the scenery and/ or AI players.
A bit more heptic feedback in the controllers.
For some reason the AI player isn't themed, it just a solid white character with a headset on. Please fix/update
Great game, but. I really like it. It seems realistic enough however there is one thing that would top the cake for me: Expert mode. Today IRL i was playing Air Hockey with some friends, and comparing this game to the real thing, - i can say that the bot on "Hard Mode" equaled my friend's skills irl and they don't really play often at all. I have neither, but Hard Mode is not challenging enough for me tbh. So i would truly love to have an Expert mode, one bot that can shoot faster and do triangle shots from the sides and better aim.
Air hockey. This is awesome!! Played it for hours.....lol Graphics look cool, game play is simple but it's fun, fun, fun. Love the real thing, and this is just as good as...if not better. After all your at home on a big air hockey game that you dont own...hahaha. Recommend for all ages, easy set up, greatest fun for everyone.
A little too early. Guys… you are really on to something here. I just feel like you released demo a wee too soon. Here are my opinions/feedback:
-Air Hockey table fan noise… that can’t be too difficult to capture. Control of volume could go under “sound effects” in settings -I went from “all in” to “I’ll finish this match but then I have to go say stuff” as soon as I realized that I could not pick up the striker. Duuuuude. I’ve won actual money with techniques that directly play off the ability to pick up the striker. -The above brings the gameplay down to somewhere between 2-3d with an amazing 3d environment. - For us older and/or disabled folks, it would be awesome and easy to put a player height adjustment slider in settings. I’m seated at a standard level, guardian properly calibrated, and I end up with half my face above the table. VR glitches. It’s relatively important to have a way to compensate on the game’s end.
In short, however, I will not be searching for any other air hockey game. It’s obvious that y’all know what you’re doing and I’m confident that I’d be happy to pay for the full version once it’s released.
Really Good & Free. This app is very good.... Hopefully the developers will add a menu with settings like hardness level .... But 5 Stars for this game so far....
Physics rock on this! This is a fantastic way to play air hockey by yourself or with friends! The physics really fool you into thinking you are really playing! Extremely enjoyable multi-player! My only suggestions would be for a blacklight mode, to be able to let go of the paddle and it still slide, and to be able to lift the paddles off the table. Regardless, a must play for any air hockey lover!
Let's play Hockey! I loved playing table hockey in the arcades in the '80s & '90s. This game brought me back to my favorite arcade slamming that plastic puck back & forth.
The sounds & the physics are so close to reality, that you think you're playing the real thing.
I'd love to see this in a multiplayer game. I'd love to play friends, family & others in this game. I'd also like to see different rooms to play in. It would be cool to play in rooms that look like an arcade filled with coin-op games, with the sounds of an arcade going off around you. Maybe also have the table centered on a full-sized hockey rink.
A great start! UPDATE: I found the setting for table height.
This game nails the physics of air hockey perfectly, and that's the most important thing in any game, for it to feel real. This feels about as real as you can get. The graphics are also really sharp, the floor looks amazingly real, every crack, etc. Now the overall game just needs a few more bells and whistles. My first request would be a way to change the table height. I'm tall and I felt like I had to bend over a little too much. After that I'm looking forward to all the things that have already been mentioned: different environments, multiplayer with chat, music options, different colors and sizes of pucks and paddles. Someone mentioned arcade games, it would be amazing to have an arcade game in one corner or other games in the room, even something simple like darts. Those photos on the walls are screaming to be user customized. Oh, one last thing. A couple of times the AI opponent just zoned out and stood there and wouldn't hit the puck anymore. He would slide his paddle toward the puck a little but never hit it. I then had to quit the game and go back in. Looking forward to the full game!
My review and online. This is great and I love it. I gave it 4 stars because I want an online mode and an avatar customizer. The online mode would be great to because you can make friends and play with others. I would like voice chat if that gets implemented. The avatar edit let would be for online so you don't look weird. Thanks!
