Great Game for the whole family. When I bought this game, I was pretty sure my children would like it – and I was not disappointed. What I actually did not expect was how much fun I would have with the game.
The general idea is to guide a little snowman to the exit of each level and collect several snowflakes. It sounds simple and easy, and it is indeed simple and easy at the beginning. However, each level comes with new surprising features; suddenly, you can make him jump or throw snowballs, and much more. At the same time, it becomes more and more difficult to collect all the snowflakes, so the game maintains a fair level of challenge (and a completely new, beautiful graphic set after every bunch of levels).
Final bonus points: Due to the simple start and continuous challenges, all motion sickness disappeared after playing it. This improvement extended to other games as well – my family and I used to suffer from it, but now, most of us can play several games we couldn't before.
Great Cute Fun Game. An interesting VR Puppet Platformer Puzzler. I really enjoyed this game. It takes a bit to get used to, but once you do, it's a lot of fun and some levels are quite challenging. It will test your hand eye coordination and you'll be investigating the levels in depth to work out your plan to get the snowflakes.
All in all I was quite impressed with how this plays. I highly recommend it.
Great game with unique controls. Great game with a unique yet easy to understand, intuitive control that I haven't seen in any other game so far. I really like VRosty, it's somehow addictive for more. The entire game length is a bit short, you're through too quickly, I hope there will be more levels ;) The graphics are okay, the sound is good. The puzzles are really fun, the levels and worlds are varied. The difficulty level is not so hard (easy to medium).
However, the game still needs some work: The tutorial should be better and go through all the mechanics and types. The point that you always have to have solid ground under your feet is also not conveyed, it took some time to understand this and solve the puzzles with the snowman. There are also a few bugs in it. The height adjustment also needs to be revised from my point of view - changing this always via the menu is cumbersome and unfortunately, the menu does not always work.
But it is a really good game that I can recommend.
Unique Platformer. VROSTY VR is a new platformer which changes things up a bit. This game gives you all of the classic 3rd person or god views as most VR Platformers do but with a unique twist. You are able to take control of a little snowman and control him in the environment from several different angles and positions. I enjoyed the environments and the obstacles in this game. There are a ton of collectable snowflakes you must obtain in order to progress on into the game so you must find them all to get to the end of the game. Each level gets harder and harder with obstacles and where the hidden snowflakes are. The game does have a few issues with the camera height adjustment, as it seems to be the joystick toggles does not work for it. Once that is fixed it would make things so much smoother. Overall, the game is fun to play and yet still challenging trying to find the snowflakes and avoid some of the obstacles. Great game for anyone who is into top down VR!
