Very fun in MR. Only complaint is it feels like the mr mode doesn't get any of the Rougelite features like being able to upgrade your character and it feels pretty easy which makes matches drag on for a while. It'd be cool if we could get the difficulty from the endless mode added in but besides that it's super fun and running around my house zapping monsters is an absolute treat. Highly recommend!!
The MR mode with Quest 3 is AMAZING. Always loved the game, but just tried the MR mode on my new Quest 3 and I am BLOWN AWAY. Easily my favorite thing I’ve tried in mixed reality so far! Took me ten minutes of playing sitting down to go, “wait is that guy shooting from behind me? Holy crap I can just walk around my entire living room!” It is so amazing (and I think not really thought about) how great it feels to just be basically in VR, but also be completely aware of your physical surroundings. And then when I realized I can punch the enemies with my other hand I fell in love.
Best MR experience out so far!! I’ve had Yuki since it launched, and have spent many hours playing. It’s a simple game, but the music and graphics are really great!
I just updated the app and have been playing the MRcade mode for over an hour! It’s really cool! If you have a decent room to play in, you will be utilizing every inch of that room, as well as ducking and diving diving the bullet hell mess!! So cool!
The bonus stages and boss stages….the sky opens up in your room…and it’s done so well!
Awesome and creative bullet hell in 3D. As a fan of the early classical shoot'em up genre, Life Force, Salamender, Gradius, etc. it's a very refreshing take on the genre and I'm looking forward to leveling up to try and finish all the levels there is. The MR mode, while fun, was a bit gimmicky and had minor issues, but I'm sure I'll go back to it after completing the main quest. All in all, it's a lot of fun and even though restarting from the beginning isn't my favorite way to progress in these games, the fact that you level up every time and the levels are getting randomized just makes it work. Give it a try, it's addictive :)
Turn Your Home Into An Arcade Game. The new mixed reality update for YUKI brings bullet hell into your home. Battle waves of enemies, bosses and bonus stage to rank up the highest score and dominate the leader boards.
YUKI MR is like living inside an arcade machine. Watch as your room quickly fills up colorful bullets and enemies that you have to skillfully move through out.
I grew up playing bullet hell games on a flat screen and loved them. Experiencing this style of gameplay everywhere in my room, is next level bullet hell.
2. Disadvantages need control If you die because you don't have a mid-level save, you start over from the beginning.
3. Analysis by suit
The basic suit a bit of a homing shot. Adequate power. A charge shot is a power shot. Items have damage and firing speed.
The tracing suit a guided missile suitable for beginners. Overwhelming comfort that fits even if you blow it roughly. However, the damage is low. Charge shot is a multi-shot. Items also have damage and firing speed
The missile suit basic ammo is a range attack, but it is quite slow and difficult to aim. The kick shot is a multi-range attack. Before upgrading the firing speed, it mainly focuses on charge shots, but after upgrading the firing speed, it just sweeps away with overwhelming damage.
The penetrating suit basic bullets to penetrate and hit obstacles, but that's it. It's good if it penetrates all of the enemies, but it only hits one out of many. When leveling up, the size of the basic bullet increases left and right, but for the reason mentioned earlier, it is useless. The charge Shot is a coordinate-fixed cannon that fires the gun in about 1.5 seconds. Instead of gaining the useless penetration characteristic, you take 1.5 times more damage.
A butterfly suit basic. All charge shots are missile types that return when the launch trigger is released. Hits enemies multiple times on the return trajectory. Therefore, the basic damage appears to be weak. You already have to dodge and hit, but it's difficult to control the distance.
Like shmups? Please play this game! This game is easy to overlook at first glance. DON'T. I had to pull myself away mid-game to write a review.
This game is an incredibly well designed 3D shmup. The freedom of movement and spacial awareness is something only VR can provide. Worth every penny. Don't sleep on it. Oh and the mixed reality mode is truly awesome too.
Developers! Please keep adding content to this amazing game!
Now if only they could get the license for Gradius/Ikaruga and make one of those in this style and I can die happy.

コンマはドットで、スペースは削除してください):T I N Y U R L , C O M / Y U K I V R

Weee. Fun game that makes me feel like I did when I was a kid, flying my toy around with my hand. Only loses a star because I'm not sure the genre is for me and I usually play other games. Would be cool/better if there was a first person option, though I can understand why there isn't one as that would make the game a different kind of game. Definitely a unique experience and worth getting.
Worth full price. Or get it 25prcnt cheaper (the comma is a dot and remove spaces):
Seems ok 4.5/5. I played this for about an hour and was weirdly underwhelmed given the stellar reviews and comparison with other very good games of lower rating. It's cool and well-made, but low on visual and audio effects, and something mades it tedious for me. I think it's the general "pew-pew" noise aesthetic. Shooting enemies is not satisfying because they just kinda wiggle like rubber when hit and don't make much (any?) noise or generate lighting effects or anything so it feels empty and flat. Thinking back to Life Force on the NES, this also had the pew-pew, but when you were hitting enemies they popped with a noise and the sweet spot on the boss made very satisfying noises especially when you had lots of upgrades. I somewhat enjoyed the first boss battle but it was easy to figure out and then I felt untouchable.
It's kinda fun to fly through stuff, and the patterns of bullets are pretty, but it all felt a little flat and a bit like a vr demo. I don't know I guess I was hoping for a bullet hell game where I upgrade as I go until I am spewing hell while things flash and explode around me. This game felt very quiet and chill, so if that's your jam, go for it!
Minor point, after each episode (stage) I didn't see an option to save and quit, and haven't had the bravery to just quit mid run and lose all the progress yet. If you can't put this down and continue later, I can't play it because I only have a few minutes here and there, and a full run takes like an hour as you get upgraded (?)

Sometimes you play a game and you know it’s good but for some reason it just ain’t your bag. Well, that’s Yuki in a nutshell for me. It’s clearly a quality game. I just don’t really like these type of games I guess.
This game is a lot of fun! I’ve seen reviews on this game and it was on my wishlist the only reason I hesitated is the lack of comfort options. First i love the graphics and the gameplay is so much fun tho a bit repetitive even if the levels do regenerate slightly different they’re still pretty repetitive. A random run mode could have made it a bit better by shuffling the levels around in different orders or something. It can also be kind of a grind if you wanna get the the higher level. The lack of comfort options is kinda why I avoided this game, there’s no option to turn off the motion so when your standing it can make you pretty nauseous after a while. It’s not to bad if you play it sitting tho, but it’s easier to play standing. Overall for 20$ this game is worth every penny it’s fun, it gets you moving, and it’s action packed. This is one of those games that makes vr look so good it would be one I would recommend to anyone that’s never tried it before. Hoping for some dlc in the future I would definitely pay for it!
