Great free form movement. I've been tempted to buy this for a long while now and just hadn't gotten around to it.
I had played the original when it came out on pcvr whenever that was and thought it was brilliant.
However I feel like a fool now for not purchasing this for the quest much, much earlier... This game is absolutely phenomenal! It provides some absolutely stunning gameplay and almost total free form movement for those that can stomach it.
Obviously this is both a port of a pc game and also a standalone VR game so don't expect insane graphics but this is still a genuinely satisfying game to play.
Wow. If your reading this, you’ve found a hidden gem. Ok. Now, name one, just one, vr game where you can do a backflip behind somebody and slice them in 2 while upside down. I’ll give you a second.
Exactly. There isn’t one. Except for this fever dream of a game. Every aspect here is just crazy and over the top. There’s very many different ways to play this game, which I think is why it’s so replayable and easy to pick up, except it’s not. This is the most motion sick I’ve ever felt in vr and I have a very strong tolerance. I almost never get motion sick, but this game did it for me. And another thing, the motion controls for doing the flips are super unresponsive and hard to do, but you do get the hang of it after a while. The weapon selection and level designs are great, the hud is clean and simple, the tutorial is very well made, and the enemies are unique and memorable. Overall this is a fun and super cool game, but if your new to vr I don’t recommend you pick it up just yet, and keep it in mind for later after your a bit more confident with your vr legs.
I have questions, but overall I love it. I have played the HTC Vive version before and I can definitely say it’s very different. The fun is still there, but a few options I liked are not. I miss big hand mode and the original maps (lab, cemetery, the one similar to warehouse, and all of the room clearing maps). If only those were added. Now, onto what I like about the Untethered version. 1. New enemies 2. New weapons 3. No tethers 4. Graphics look decent (like htc vive) 5. I can still have fun 6. I can do a flip Yeah that’s about it. Fun game, great company, go purchase it.
Also, I would gladly pay for a DLC of the original Sairento maps.
AmZing addictive and well worth the cash. Great game soo fun there are add ins but they are not needed even if you get bored I guarantee that u will come back and play it more
Fun for a few laughs; 4.4/5. This one was pretty fun and satisfying for a few hours, and I like the rogue-like leveling up. However, it somehow got pretty repetitive and I just drifted away. Maybe multiplayer is where it's at, but I basically found a rifle-sword combination and felt unstoppable. It's a bit underrated which is why I'm going 5 stars.
Amazing. This game is simply amazing I love doing backflips, side flips, and front flips while in combat situations I love all of the guns and weapons and I love the satisfying gore
Can’t wait for hellsweeper
I thought I put this in here last month but i forgot I just wanted to say holy crap the devs are amazing they respond to EVERY review this whole dev team is going places they have dedication to listening to their community and making their game better I can guarantee hellsweeper will be an absolute Fantastic game
Not booting on Quest Pro. Wanted to revisit this after trying hellsweeper. The game does not start on my quest pro. I tried restarting the headset and uninstalling/reinstalling the game. No help. The store page says it supports Meta Quest Pro.
Too busy. A lot of enemies that keep appearing out of nowhere in pretty limited environments. You don’t really engage in fights, there can’t be strategy as it’s too busy all the time and you end up just randomly sliding around with the swords in your hands, which makes you almost invincible and all the other weapons and stuff useless.
