Amazing game. This is the game that I've played most on the meta platform. There are so many aspects that you get to manage and all of that in VR is super interesting. I'm not sure why it has such a low rating, in my opinion it deserves 5 stars! I hope the developers keep adding more things and maps to make this even better.
Suggestion to developers: Make another simulation game to manage politics or other aspects of managing a city and then connect it back to this game or to the cities people have built on this game!
The Best Build Sim. Let me start by saying this game is just absolutely amazing. If you enjoy city or building sims in general this game is for you. And if you’ve never played any sim games. I highly recommend this game. The gameplay is simple and straight forward. Graphics are very good. However it can use an update or improvement. This game is so good you’ll spend hours building your city or go through every map. This is why it could use more maps or added features. Overall rating 9/10.
Need new maps. I love the game, and I’ve done each map several times. It would be great if we could get a new map every six or eight weeks as it’s getting boring now with the same maps after a year of playing the game. It would also be great if we could have the option to turn the Boundry on and off. It spoils city and when you know the Boundry, it detracts from the overall impression when you’re taking aerial view.. just my 2c
This game doesn’t disappoint A+ gameplay. I didn’t get my expectations too high as I knew oculus headset may limit the game. I’ve almost completely built out my first city and I’m thoroughly impressed.
I’ve played quite a bit of city skylines and this reminds me of early days in city skylines. It’s a hot game on oculus right now, a good dev team behind it and they already have a planned game update less than 2 weeks after launch.
Can’t wait to see where they take this game!
Update 1 year later: still a 5 star I’m running through an attempt out a maxed out city. 100% of industry is offices and I’m testing new part so of the game such as new services, subway line, elevator metro and FPOV. Still a quality game and I’m glad devs are still updating
Fun! Time really flies when playing this. Enjoy it. Having a blast.
Desired features: Please add tourist locations like gift shops, Ferris wheels, etc. Would love to make a “tourist trap” with boutique shops and a pier/boardwalk.
Please add “citizen mode” so we can walk around the city more naturally and without the event icons. It would also be fun to have a city hall or something with an interior we can go into, and maybe a house with an interior too. I would love to “just live” in the city I built, if you get my drift, with a small set of interiors that a city planner might go into in an average day.
Bugs noticed: 1. loan amounts are bugged after taking them out, displays wrong amounts. (Usually “20000test”). 2 spinning signs sometimes bug out and move faster than they’re supposed to and are offset from their poles slightly

LOVE. I get so lost in this game. Don’t know why I waited so long to get it.
Underrated! Complements Skylines! This game is pretty underrated and is somewhat hindered by being compared to the PC version (Skylines) too much.
It’s a different game and benefits to be played differently than the PC counterpart. E.g. instead of trying to build big and fill the 1 tile as fast as possible then play more relaxed and slow paced, zooming in to street level now and then to walk around and enjoy feeling like being a citizen amongst the others, imagining you living there, enjoying the views and checking out the neighbourhood but with the power to make the changes you want. Playing it that way really made me enjoy Cities: VR a lot, even more than the PC counterpart (in PC version I felt disconnected to my city once I returned to it). I actually managed to refund the game but purchased it again once I realized how good it was if played it in the right way.
Sure, the graphics aren’t up to par to Skylines, and there are some design decision that could have been made different to make this a better VR experience (i.e more simplistic but cleaner graphics suitable to less capable hardware), but for a pretty complex city builder running on the Quest in standalone then Cities: VR is fantastic way to relax and enjoy building a city.
Feedback to FTG: - My biggest gripe is to not be able to ”scale” the city into a ”miniature”. As it is right now the world feels unnecessarily flat as head translation is not reflected at distance (it’s pretty much only observable at street level).
Fun game. Devs listen to their customers. Update: Devs fixed everything! Tx. They really put in the time and effort to make their customers happy and fix any issues.
Ran for only 1 game then crashes every single time now. Can't exit out, can't do anything. If you hold the power switch extra long the system will eventually reset.
Love the game but not like the pc game. I love the game but it has some cons about it. First of all you can’t delete saved games to help with lag or to free up some space. You also can’t pay to get more tiles in the map you make, you only have one tile to make your city. I wish you could have more area to progress. Devs please add this
